What does zpeech.com offer?

You can comment any website on any website with a “zpeechboard”. Just add "zpeech.com" in front of any URL (e.g. zpeech.com/google.com). The website will then open with a zpeechboard popup on the left hand side of the browser window, in which you can

• instantly read comments of users regarding that very website (URL) and
• add your comment to that very website after a short and free registration

Is there anything to download or install?

No. There is no need to download or install anything.

Are there any technical requirements?

For the registration and a comfortable use of the zpeechboards, you need to enable cookies. If you want to use the zpeechboards you have to enable JavaScript in your browser.

What browsers does the zpeechboard support?

To take advantage of zpeech.com's full functionality, you'll need one of these up-to-date browsers:

• Internet Explorer 5+
• Firefox 1.5+
• Safari 2.0+

Are there any limitation to the number or lenght of comments?

Yes, due to security reasons you can post up to 2 comments per minute. Each comment may have a maximum length of 200 characters.

Can I use html in a zpeechboard?

Yes, you can use a kind of html for editing text:

• Bold: [b]text[/b]
• Italic: [i]text[/i]
• Underline: [u]text[/u]
• Link: [a href="http://www.url.com"]Linkname[/a]

Does zpeech work on every website?

Zpeech works on most websites. Only on websites that block zpeech because they do not want comments on their website, zpeech does not work. Further, zpeech does not work on websites with dynamic URLs (e.g. some shops or special content management systems). There the URLs change with every request, thus zpeech can not reference to the URL of the pages.

Why do I need to register?

For reading comments of other zpeechers you do not even have to register. Just add "zpeech.com" in front of any URL and a zpeechboard opens where you can read comments of other users regarding this website. If you want to write comments on your own, you have to register and agree to our terms of use. This is for your own convenience and helps us and you to keep zpeech.com clear of spam or any other needless comments.

Who do I tell a great idea / a bug report?

Please post your ideas or bugs in the forum. We are checking it regularly and doing our best to respond to all comments and ideas. We are prioritizing further development and debugging based on your feedback, so you will certainly be heard.

What can I do when people spam or harass me?

Currently in the Beta phase we need your support finding spammers and harassers. Please send us any complaints as soon as possible with some documentation / link. In the future we are planning to make blocking and muting for you possible.

Will the zpeechboard track my surfing habits?

Currently only when you are working with the zpeechboard we need to track where you are, due to connecting your comments to the URL. See our terms of use to see how zpeech.com handles data.

Is it possible that zpeech.com will introduce service charges?

Yes in the future as a Pro Account - but only optional and for certain additional services not yet introduced. The service that you see at moment remains presumably free of charge and will be financed through advertising.

What does "BETA" mean?

Zpeech.com reached the BETA-Status. Almost all provided features work correctly. But some things could still be shaky occasionally. Therefore we can not give you any function guarantees.
